Wayne County, NC - Will of Clarky Vinson, 1855 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I CLARKY VINSON of the county of Wayne and State of North Carolina being in a low state of health but of sound mind and memory do make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form as follows. ITEM 1st I give to my son THOMAS J. VINSON all the land that I own. ITEM 2nd I give to my grand daughter ELENDAR JOHNSON one bed and furniture. ITEM 3rd I give to my daughter SALLY all the balance of my property of every kind during her life, my will and desire is that my son THOMAS VINSON shall take charge of SALLY and attend to her during her life. Lastly I constitute and appoint my son THOMAS J. VINSON my executor to This my last will and testament hereby revoking all other wills by me made .
