Wayne County, NC - Will of James Vinson, 1850 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I JAMES VINSON of the County of Wayne and state of North Carolina being weak of body but of sound mind and memory and knowing the uncertainty of my earthly existence do make and declare this to be my last will and testament in manner and form following to wit: First, that my executor herein after named shall provide for my body a decent burial suitable to the wishes of my relatives and friends and pay all formal expenses together with all my just debts however and to whomever owing out of the money that may first come into his hands. ITEM, I give and bequeath to my beloved wife JENNET VINSON the entire balance of my estate both real and personal in fee simple forever. Lastly, I nominate constitute and appoint my friend WILLIAM C BRYAN my true and lawful executor to this my last will and testament, and I do hereby revoke all wills or claims of wills heretofore made by me.
