Elizabeth Yelventon In the name of God Amen the 6th day of July in the year of our Lord 1803 I Elizebeth Yelventon of the State of North Carolina and County of Wayne being in Good health and perfect mind and memory Thanks be Given unto God for the same and Calling to mind the mortallity of my body and knowing That it is appointed for all woman once to die do make and ordain this my last Will and Testament that is to say principally and first of all I give and Recommend my sole into the hands of God that Gave it and for my body I recommend it to the Earth to be buried in a christian like And decent manner at the descretion of my Executors nothing doubting but at the General Resarrection I Shall receive the same again by the mighty power of God and as touching such worly Estate where with it hath pleased God to bless me in this life I Give devise and dispose of the same in manner and form following that is to say in the first place I Give and bequeath one negro woman by The name of Rachal to my three Children thats now living and to my son Noah Yelventons [xres ?], and what money and notes to be equally devided as the negro I also apoint my son Hardy Yelventon and Joseph Downer my only and Sole Executors of this my last will and testament and I do here by utterly disallow revoke And disannul all and every other former testament will and legaces bequeats and Executors By me in any way before this time named willed and bequeathed ratifying and comfirming This and no other to be my last will and testament In Witness where of I have here unto set my hand an seal this day and year above written.
