William Green Tedder b. Dec 1873 Wilkes NC d. July 22, 1925 in a Coal Mining 
accident in McDowell, County, WV. His wife was Martha Florence Fuentes Gentle. 
Her first husband was Samuel Gentle b. 1871 Wilkes and died in the Spanish- 
American War. Fuentes is Martha's maiden name b. 1875 Rio Grande City, Starr 
County, TX. Martha and William Green Tedder were married in Wilkes Feb 18, 
1899.
 
William Green Tedder was the son of William Hubbard Tedder and Mary Elizabeth 
Riddle. The grandson of Obedience " Biddy" Tedder and Deborah "Debby" Riddle. 
Both grandfathers are unk. The Great Grandson of Benjamin Tedder and Mahalea 
Eastridge and John Riddle and wife unk. The second Great Grandson of Harmon 
Tedder/Tuder/Tudor and Nathan Eastridge. All families from Wilkes.
