County & State of North Carolina of the one part & Isaac Reeves of the county & State aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that he the Sd. Isaac Reeves for and in consideration of the Sum of Twenty five pounds to him in hand paid by the Sd. John Lunsford at or before the ensealing and delivery of these presents the Receipt whereof is hereby fully acknowledged by the Sd. Isaac Reeves hath Given Granted bargained Sold aliened Enfeoffed and confirmed and fully and clearly Give Grant bargain & Sell & confirm unto him the Sd. John Lunsford his heirs and assigns forever a certain tract of Land Granted by the State to Sd. Isaac Reeves Lying and being in the County of Wilkes & State of North Carolina on the waters of Hunting Creek in the brushy Mountain Beginning at a chesnut on the old Line on Ye North side of the creek Runing west one hundred and twenty eight poles to a post oak thence South crossing Sd. Creek Seventy two poles to a chesnut at the conditional Line between Isaac Reeves Senior & Peter Reeves thence East with Sd. line one hundred twelve poles to a white oak on the bank of the creek thence with Ye Sd. creek Down eight poles to a line thence North fifty poles to the beginning be the Same more or less To have and to hold the Sd. fifty acres of Land Together with all ways woods waters mines minerals hereditaments and appurtenances Rights & privileges & improvements to the Same in a wise (sic any wise ?) belong there or appertaining to the only use and benefit of him the Sd. Lunsford his heirs and assigns and the Sd. Isaac Reeves himself and his heirs do hereby covenant and agree to and with the Sd. John Lunsford that he the Sd. John Lunsford his heirs and assigns Shall and may forever hereafter peaceably and quietly occupy possess and enjoy the aforesaid Granted Land and premises without the Least molestation of any person or persons whatsoever and the Sd. Isaac Reeves his heirs Executors and administrators and assigns do by these presents forever warrant and defend the Sd. Granted Land and premises to him the Sd. Lunsford his heirs and assigns forever against the claim or claims of any person or persons whatsoever In Witness whereof he the Sd. Isaac Reeves hath hereunto Set his hand and Seal the day and date first above written.
