L. Ferguson The Standard of Raleigh, Dec. 10, 1862 DIED of typhoid fever, at the residence of Mrs. Griffin in Petersburg, Va., on the 28th of October, 1862, after an illness of two months and twenty-two days, CAPT. T. L. FERGUSON,of Company C, 26th Regiment, N. C. Troops. He was a consistent member of the Baptist Church. He participated in the Battle of Newbern, and in the seven days battlener Richmond, Va. But on the 6th of August he was seized with typhoid fever, which resulted in his death on the 28th October. Additional Comments: Note: Capt. Ferguson was from Wilkes, N.
