WILKES COUNTY, NC - OBITUARIES - William Sidden, 15 Dec 1925 --------------¤¤¤¤¤¤-------------- Sidden Obituaries Contributed By Harold Anthony Lloyd From the Wednesday August 9, 1905 edition of Wilkesboro, North Carolina's "The Chronicle": "William Sidden died near Joynes last week, from cancer. He was about 70 years old. It is rather remarkable that he is the third who has recently died in that section from cancer. The other two were Andy Sidden and Samuel Caudill. All three were old men, between 60 and 70 years; and the cancer was on the face of each about the same place, and in each case eat (sic) away about half the face before death ensued."
