J.L. Green at Piney Grove church. Mrs. Turner was 95 years, 9 months and 5 days old. She was preceeded to the grave by her husband and six children. She is survive by two brothers, one sister and 3 children: Mrs. W.D. Goble and John Turner, of Yadkin Valley; Wilburn Turner, of Jennings; 28 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. She was a cripple for 33 years, being an invalid for the past 5 years. For 36 years she made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Goble, in Yadkin Valley. She was a true Christian and was loved by everyone. She will be greatly missed in the home and by a host of other relatives and friends. The floral tributes were many and beautiful. Flower bearers were Misses Dessie Goble, Violet Stone, Verna Dean Cline, Minnie Goble, Winnie Stone, Hazel Turner, Nellie Stone. Mesdames Willard Goble, Roy Mitchell, David Goble, Dewey Turner. Pall Bearers were: Willard Goble, David Goble, Homer Turner, John Turner Jr., Roy Mitchell and R.C. Houck.
