E. Turner at Cricket. Mr. Turner had been ill for the past week. He was preceeded in death seven years ago by his wife, Mrs. Mary Turner, and the suviving sons and daughters are : W.E. Turner, Hamptonville; P.V. Turner, Wilkesboro Route 1; S.P. Turner, Wolf Bayou, Ark.; D.E. Turner, Cricket; Mrs. Roy MItchell and Mrs. Don Bell, Hamptonville; Miss Adina Turner, of Statesville; Mrs. P.H. Baity, Gilreath. Also surviving are one brother and one sister, John Turner and Mrs. Lou Goble, of Caldwell County, 33 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m., at Grassy Knob Church. Rev. Grady White and Rev. C.J. Pool will conduct the service. Both Wilburn and Mary are buried at the Grassy Knob Cemetery in Iredell County.
