Turner Claimed by Death; Rites Held Sunday Mrs. Ina Myers Turner, 74, of Millers Creek Route 1, wife of P.V. Turner, died at 4 a.m. Friday at home. Born in Iredell County July 24, 1895, she was the daughter of R.M. and Dicie Madison Myers. She was a member of Grassy Knob Baptist Church. Surviving are her husband ; three daughters, Mrs. D.L. Mixon of Reno, Nev., Miss Margaret Turner of the home and Mrs. Evelyn T. Hayes of North Wilkesboro, Rt.4; two sons, R.M. Turner of Atlanta, Ga., George W. Turner of Bogota, Columbia; a sister, Mrs. Alice M. Holland of OLin; and two brothers, Frank Myers of Statesville and Marsh Myers of Baltimore, Md. Also surviving are eight grandchildren; step mother, Mrs. Addie Myers of Union Grove Route 1; a half brother, Lewis Myers of Union Grove Route 1; and a half sister, Mrs. Rachel Box of Jacksonville, Fla. Funeral service was conducted Sunday afternoon at Grassy Knob Baptist Church by the Rev. Paul Crater and the Rev. Dean Simpson. Burial was in the church cemetery.
