The following is the will of Henry Sims, Wilkes County, NC: Henry Sims Will: I, Henry Sims of Wilkes County, NC, being of sound mind and memory do make this my last will and testament in manner and form following to wit: Item, I will that my executor hereinafter named shall provide my body a decent burial and pay all my just debts. Item, I give to my beloved wife, Mollie Ann (Elmore) Sims, my home tract of land containing 109 acres more or less and lying in Wilkes County together with all my personal property to have and to hold the same during her natural life or as long as she remains my widow. At her death, and in case she should marry again, fifty acres on the west side including the home site I give to my grandson, Vernie Sims, and his bodily heirs; 35 acres on the south of the remainder of said home tract, I give to my daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Redding, and her bodily heirs; the remainder of said home tract (24 acres) I give to my granddaughter, Mary Asberry Dockery, and her bodily heirs. Item, I give to my daughers, Martha Melinda Money and Nancy Jane Hinson, fifty two acres of land adjoining my home tract and lying in Yadkin County and to their bodily heirs. Said fifty acres of land to be equally divided between them. Item, I hereby appoint my wife, Mollie Ann Sims, and my son-in-law, William Franklin Money, Executors of this my last will and testament.
