Written: September 30, 1805 Recorded: February 1806 Will of James Spradling In the name of God, Amen. I, James Spradling of County of Wilkes, being of sound and perfect mind and memory, blessed be God for it, do this 30 day of September in the year of our Lord 1805, make and publish this my last will and testament, in manner following. That is to say, first, I give and bequeath unto my daughter Fanney Robnet my bed and furniture. Secondly, I give unto my son John Spraddlin and Fanny Robnet the whole of my property to be equally divided between, after our desis. John Spradlin is to hold the property and take care of his mother as long as she lives. And I make and ordain my worthy sons John Spradling and James Robnet executors of this my last will and testament. In witness whereof I the said James Spradlin have to this my last will and testament set my hand and seal the day and year above written, signed, sealed, published and declared by the said James Spradlin.
