This file was contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives by: Elsie Arcuri bmbranches@bigfoot.com ==================================================================== David Williams Will BK-5 Page 128 Wilkes County NC In the name of God Amen, or be it remembered that I David Williams of the State of North Carolina and County of Wilkes being weak in body but of sound & perfect mind memory & considering the uncertainty of the mortal life blessed be Almighty God for the same do make and publish this my last will & testament in manner and form following that is to say 1st: I give and bequeath unto my beloved wife Sarah Williams all my lands use of a conditional line made by David & Martin Williams beginning at the dow field a south course to the fork of the branch then an east Corner to the Eliza Stanly hollow with the excepting of Knob tract during natural life then to fall to my youngest son David Williams also my household & chattel property of whatever kind or nature to wife for the use of the family and at her decease to the use of the family that stays together also the Knob tract of Land to be equally divided between my several kin with the exception of my oldest son Alfred Williams and for him to have as much again as any of the rest when the said tract of land is sold and the money collected and I also appoint my youngest son David Williams soul executor of this my last will and testament hereby revoking all former wills by me made in witness my hand and seal this the 14th day of February 1855.
