PROMISSORY NOTE of Mary Z. HINNANT

The following Note came from the estate of Evelyn Bizzell Hardy of 
Kinston, N.C. and possibly her sister Inez Bizzill HINNANT of Wilmington. 
Transcribed by Sloan S. Mason with permission of the HARDY family.

The following Note of Mary Z. HINNANT was inserted in the NEWSOME/HINNANT 
Bible.

Promissory Note

Wilmington, N.C.
April 29th, 1906

$450
For value ----- I promise to pay to Furney J. GOODING viz. Order the sum 
of Four Hundred and Fifty-dollars in equal monthly installments-of Four 
Dollars each.
The first monthly installments of Four Dollars due and payable on the 29th 
day of May A.D. 1905 and Four Dollars each succeeding month thence after 
until the whole debt is paid of and discharged in full. With interest from 
date on --- --- of six teen cents per annum, said interest payable quantity 
in advance.
This note is second by a first mortgage on Real Estate of even date with 
these presents.
Given under my hand and seal the day and from first above written.
