Also to collect sue for or in any maner settle all claims either of a personal or real character which we may be jointly or severally entitled to in either of the counties aforesaid. and to do and preform all acts Sign Seal and deliver all Contracts releases Conveyances or obligation ___ to fully Settle up our bisiness in said Counties as our general, unlimited Agent and Attorney. And we hereby approve and ratify all the acts of our Said Attorney and Agent in the premises as fully and firmly as if we were personally present. James Hocott of the County of Izard in the State of Arkansas and acknowledged that he had signed and sealed the foregoing Power of Attorney for the uses considerations and purposes therein mentioned and set forth. And also on the Same day came Delphia Hocott to me well known to be the wife of Said James and in the absence of her husband acknowledged that She had of her own free will and accord Signed and Sealed the foregoing power of Attorney for the uses purposes and considerations therein mentioned and Set forth without any compulsion or undue influence of her said husband.
