MARY JANE HUNTER

   Mary Jane Hunter, age one year, little daughter of Dr. and Mrs. W.C. Hunter 
of Wilson, N.C., died Sunday night June 16th at her home of suffocation in the 
her crib.

   Funeral services were conducted from St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church in Wilson 
Tuesday afternoon at four o’clock, by Rev. J.I. Beckwith, interment being in 
Maplewood.

   Pallbearers were Walter Woodard, Jr., J.L. Barnes, J.C. Eagles, Jr., and T.S. 
Hall.

   Surviving are her parents, Dr. and Mrs. W.C. Hunter, a sister, Betsy, a 
brother, William C. Hunter, Jr., and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J.T. 
Cheatham.

   She was the great-grandchild of the late Mr. and Mrs. Cooper Williams of 
Courtland.

   Relatives from the county attending the funeral were, Miss Irene Kitchen and 
L.A. Clements of Courtland, and Misses Mabel Kitchen and Shirley Marks and Mrs. 
A.E. Briggs of Sebrell.
