Family Notification & Wilson Daily Times
Louise Strickland Perry, age 80, of Bailey, NC, died Friday July 21, 2006 at 
Wilson Medical Center in Wilson, NC, after a lengthy illness. She was the 
daughter of the late Columbus Andrew and Dora Mae Strickland of Bailey. Louise 
Perry was born October 12, 1925 and married Ernest Reid Perry of Bailey, NC in 
1945. Her husband, Ernest Reid Perry passed away on January 08, 1998. Funeral 
Services was provided by Shingletons Funeral Home of Wilson, NC. The Family 
received friends on Saturday, July 22, 2006 from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Chapel and 
graveside services were held on Sunday July 23 at 2:00 PM, with burial at The 
Perry Family Cemetery in Bailey, NC off NC 581. Louise was a long-time member 
of Rock Springs Baptist Church, in Bailey, NC. Pall Bearers were grandsons, and 
grandson-in-laws.

Additional Comments:
Louise Perry is survived by 4 daughters and 2 sons, 22 grandchildren and 10 
great-grandchildren, several step-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren. 
Louise is in Heaven, with her husband, Ernie, and Mable, and several others who 
shared God's Love and mercy in their lives. We nicknamed Louise, "Precious". 
because she looked at life and her family like that. She was a loving wife, 
mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. But most of all she is one of God's 
angels.
