That my executor hereinafter named, shall provide for my body a decent burial and pay all funeral expenses together with my just debts, however and to whomsoever owing out of residue of moneys and personal property of my estate. Item: I give and devise to my beloved wife, Edith Harrell the tract of land on which I now live, containing 140 acres to have and to hold to her the said Edith Harrell for and during her natural life. Item: I give and devise to my daughter Vesta Harrell all the land on which I now live on south side of path running through said land to have and to hold at the death of my beloved wife, Edith Harrell, to her for and during her single life. Item: I give and devise to my son Clayton Harrell all of the tract of land on which I now live to have and to hold at the death of my beloved wife Edith Harrell and at the death or marriage of my daughter Vesta Harrell, to him and his heirs in fee simple forever. Item: I give and devise to my son George Harrell that tract of land known as the Webb land containing 51 acres to have and to hold to him and heirs in fee simple forever. Item: I give and devise to my son Mills Harrell all my interest consisting of two shares, in Elbert Webb land, to have and to hold to him and his heirs in fee simple forever. Item: I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Edith Harrell one gray mare and all household and kitchen furniture, to be hers and at her disposal absolutely forever. Item: I give and bequeath to my daughter Vesta Harrell one gray mare mule to be hers and at her disposal absolutely forever. Item: I give and bequeath to my son George Harrell one black mule to be his and at his disposal absolutely forever. Item: My will and desire is that my Pocosin tract of land, containing 200 acres shall be sold and the money that it brings, after paying cost of sale, shall be equally divided and paid over to all my children in equal portion share and share alike, to them and each and every one of them, their executors, administrators, and assigns, absolutely forever. Item: My will and desire is that residue of my estate after taking out the devisees and legacies above mentioned shall be equally divided after paying debts expenses etc., between my wife, Edith Harrell, my daughter Vesta Harrell and my son Clayton Harrell in equal portion share and share alike to them and each and every of them, their executors, administrators and assigns absolutely forever. And lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint my trusty friend J. T. Moore my lawful executor to all intents and purposes, to execute this my last will and testament according to the true intent and meaning of the same and every part and clause thereof, hereby revoking and declaring utterly void all other wills and testaments by me heretofore made.
