Wilson County, NC - WILL - Webb, Sallie-1931 File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by Jo Webb STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA WILSON COUNTY NORTH CAROLINA I, Sallie Webb, of Wilson County, North Carolina, being of sound mind and memory, but realizing the uncertainty of this life do make, declare and publish this my last will and testament, hereby utterly revoking all other wills by me heretofore made. -1- I request that the Clerk of the Superior Court of Wilson County shall appoint an administrator of my estate, who shall pay all of my just debts and burial expenses out of the first moneys coming into his hands. -2- I direct that my body shall be buried in my family grave yard on my home-place. -3- I give and bequeath unto my granddaughter, Lizzie Webb, the sum of Fifty Dollars to be paid by my administrator within one year after the date of his qualification. -4- All the rest and residue of my personal estate of whatever nature and description, I give and bequeath in equal shares, per capita, to my sevenchildren now living, that is to say, Letie Webb, Ada Webb, Aquilla Webb, Aaron Webb, Moses Webb, Jattie Webb, and Effie Webb. -5- All of my real estate and real property of every kind and description and wherever the same may be situate, I give and devise as follows: I direct that my real property shall be divided into seven equal shares and to each of my said children, Letie Webb, Ada Webb, Aquilla Webb, Aaron Webb, Moses Webb, Jattie Webb, and Effie Webb. I give and devise one share thereof for and during the term of his or her natural life and no longer. Upon the death of each one of my said children, and from and after his or her death, I give and devise his or her share to his or her children, if any, in fee simple. Should any one of my said children die leaving no children, or grandchildren, him or her surviving, then upon the death of any one of my said children I give and devise his or her share in fee simple to my heirs generally to take per stirpes and not per capita.
