Company F, 28th Regiment NC Troops
Resided in Yadkin County where he enlisted at age 19, June 20, 1863, for the 
war. Hospitalized at Richmond, Virginia, June 3, 1864, with a gunshot wound. 
Place and date wounded not reported. Furloughed on June 30, 1864. Reported 
absent without leave on August 28, 1864.
