The Standard of Raleigh, Dec. 3, 1862
   SOLICITOR FOR THE SIXTH CIRCUIT
   COLONEL R. F. ARMFIELD of Yadkin County, N. C., was , on Wednesday last, 
elected Solicitor of the Sixth Judicial District. COLONEL ARMFIELD has seen 
much service in the army, and is just recovering from a wound received in the 
battle of Shepardstown. He will make an able and faithful prosecuting officer.
