Miss Alice Davis, daughter of Mr. S.D. Davis, of East Bend, was married 
Tuesday evening at 8:30 o'clock to Mr. J.M. Potts, of Davidson. Rev. J.M. 
Matthews, of East Bend, performed the ceremony. Among the witnesses to the 
happy affair was Mr. H.A. Cathey, of this city. The bride and groom have many 
friends in their respective neighborhoods. They arrived at Davidson last 
night, and will make that their future home.
