YANCEY COUNTY, NC - CEMETERIES - Angel-King Cemetery --------------¤¤¤¤¤¤-------------- Location: From old Cane River Post Office, go down Cane River 2.4 miles, turn right onto Lanksford Branch Road, go about .9 mile, just before reaching Willard Angel's white house on left side of road walk up a steep wooded hill on the right about .5 mile to the top of the hill. There is a tall pine tree on top of hill that is visible from the road, the cemetery is located near this tree. Condition: Fair SURNAMES; ANGEL, BEAVER, KING, ROLIN 1. James C. "Jim Crack" Angel, Co. Known to be buried here are: 3. Rufina King, (July 1846 - died 12/9/1930 at age 88 years, D/o Margaret King 4. Howard King, (B. June 1883 - died about 1940) Son of #3, Husband of # 21 buried at Banks Creek R.B.Anglin Cemetery. 5. Elbert Milton King, 7/11/1881 - 9/10/1881, S/o Jeff & Martha Angel King 6.
