YANCEY COUNTY, NC - CEMETERIES - Angel Cemetery

Turn on Windy Gap Road near the Yancey-Madison County line.  At the Fox Creek-
Windy Gap junction bear left on Windy Gap.  Go to the first driveway on the 
right, cemetery is on a ridge just above the metal building.
Condition:  Fair, all graves marked


1. William Bacccus Angel - 2-10-1846 - 1-25-1937 - 
   (S/o John & Betsy Hensley Angel) 
   "A loved one from us has gone, A voice we loved is stilled, 
    A place is vacant in our home which never can be filled"
2. Sarah Anne Angel, 4-1-1845 - 6-4-1923, 
   "Heaven now retains our treasure, Earth the lonely casket keeps, 
    and the sun-beams long to linger where our sainted mother sleeps" 
    (W/o # 1,  Married 1-9-1868, D/o Larken & Sallie Metcalf Chandler) 
3. William Gaither Angel, 5-12-1880 - 6-18-1940 "At Rest" 
   (S/o of # 1 & 2 - single)
4. Eliza Jane Angel 3-20-1886 - 5-19-1944 ( D/o # 1 & 2 - single)
