YANCEY COUNTY, NC - CEMETERIES - Byrd/Wilson Cemetery

Located just below the WILSON/BYRD/MANEY Cemetery.  Walk down the ridge to 
cemetery. 
Condition:  Good

1.  Isac N. Byrd, 10-4-1838 - 6-1-1906
2.  Marked with fieldstone but thought to be Cordelia Tipton Byrd, W/o # 1
3.  Marked with fieldstone thought to be daughter of 1 & 2
4.  Marked with fieldstone
  
As you walk on down the ridge there are several (at least 10) graves marked 
with fieldstones thought to be slave graves.

Walk on down the ridge to next cemetery:  Condition:  Good

1.  H. G. Wilson, 11-12-1852 - 9-12-1862
2.  E. P. Wilson, 12-30-1846 - 12-14-1862
3.  Fannie Lucinda Byrd, Wife of M. C. Byrd, 10-20-1850 - 1-18-1868 
    "Asleep in Jesus"
4.  Mary Wilson, 6-15-1810 - 11-14-1896
5.  James Wilson, 12-11-1806 - 8-29-1897
