Yancey County, NC - Hughes Cemetery ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ HUGHES CEMETERY: Located off Bald Mountain Road on Silas Branch Road. Go about a mile up this road and turn right on a dirt farm road that goes around thru a field to the cemetery. Near impossible to count because of weeds and bushes. At one time it had been cared for as there were flowers and yucca plants present.
