On the north side of road, across from Pioneer Road, go up the bank to the right and on up the ridge a short distance to the cemetery. Condition: Very poor, grown up in briars. Daffodils blooming!! 1. Clarisa, Daughter of G.D. & E. Ray, 3-7-1865 - 3-22-1865 2. Martha, Daughter of G.D. & E. Ray, 3-28-1860 - 11-11-1866 3. Ann, Daughter of G.D. & E. Ray, 9-22-1863 - 10-28-1866 4. Jesse, Son of G.D. & E. Ray, 7-16-1868 - 11-19-1875 Said to be buried here are: 5. William Biggs, the first Mayor of Burnsville. - Born June, 1832. 6. Jesse Ray, 6-11-1827 - 9-14-1867, S/o James Bean* & Martha Elvira Bailey Ray.** 7. Minerva Carter Ray, W/o Jesse Ray, 6-27-1829 - 11-12-1877 (Tombstones for Mr. & Mrs. Ray were removed and stored in a family barn.)
