Yancey County, NC - Ray Cemetery

RAY CEMETERY On Old Mine Fork Road:  Located near the lower end 
of the Old Mine Fork Road there is a old road on the right that 
goes up in the woods to this cemetery on a little knoll.  

Condition:  Poor

1.  “IN MEMORY OF OUR SEVEN LITTLE CHILDREN - Mr. & Mrs. W. A. 
    RAY”  “Let Our Father’s Will Be Done”
2.  Ruby Ray, Born Mar. 12, 1910 – Died Feb. 27, 1920 “She was 
    the sunshine of our home” (D/o William & Polly Howell Ray)
3.  “Beloved Mother & Friend, Helen C. Sierk, Aug. 22, 1911 - July 29, 1998”
4.  “Beloved Brother & Friend, Larry M. Sierk, Nov. 11, 1947 – Nov. 18, 1998

     At least 25 graves, possibly more, marked with field stones.
