Adkins (Buried at Poor House Cemetery on Jacks Creek) 4. Pvt. Thomas Howell, Co G. 58 NC INF. CSA 1838 - 1880, (S/o Billy & Jane Honeycutt Howell, H/o Louise Phipps Howell- married 9-23-1860) 5. Isaac Whitson, 1783 - 1850, His wife 6. Drucilla Bennett, 1780 - . 7. Abraham Whitson, 1810 - , His wife 8. Sally Whitson 9. ((Also said to be buried here: Susie Jane Adkins Taylor, dates unknown, D/o Rickles & Tobitha Bryant Adkins. Susie married James Taylor). Note: There is a sad story about this old cemetery some years ago the person who owned the land remove all of the stone to fill in a ditch.
