MARY NELL YOUNG MILLER 

SPRUCE PINE - Mary Nell Young Miller, also of Naples, Fla., died Monday, Dec. 
25, 2006 in Spruce Pine Community Hospital. A native of Yancey County, she was 
the daughter of the late James and Sally Young, and wife of the late Harry T. 
Miller. She retired from Monsanto Chemical Company in Miamisburg, Ohio after 
27 years of service.

Survivors include a daughter, Judy Miller of Spruce Pine; a son, Gary Miller 
of Naples; a sister, Ruby King of Ohio; a brother, Herman Young of Ohio; four 
grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. 

A memorial service was held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Holcombe 
Brothers Funeral Home in Burnsville.
