Obituary of Reverend Billy Burton Styles, the son of James
Monroe Styles and Sarah Elizabeth Austin Styles of Prices Creek,
Yancey County.

Monday, February 18th, 1935

Burnsville - Rev. B.B. Styles - The funeral of the Reverend B.B.
Styles, 45, of the Woodfin section, was held from the Cane River
Church Saturday. Mr. Styles died Friday morning after a long
illness. The funeral was held by the Rev. Bert Nannie, the Rev.
John Crane and the Rev. Charlie Rhodes. Surviving are his widow
Mrs. Delano Styles, six sons, Raleigh, Grady and Bascombe Styles
of Asheville, and Ben, Blake and Carmen Styles of Burnsville.
Burial was in the James Monroe Styles Cemetery on Prices Creek."
