Article of the last will and testament of WILLIAM BAILEY Sen. of the state of North Carolina & County of Yancey. October the Eightenth day in the Year of our Lord One thousand Eight hundred & forty seven being of Advanced age and in low state of health But in perfect sences and sound mind in the Name of God Amen Article the 1st I Resign my boddy to the dust from whence it came & my soul to God who Gave it me. Article the 2nd that all my Just debts be paid out of my personal property. Article the 3rd I will and bequeath to my wife ELIZABETH BAILEY all the tract or parsel of land where on I now live being Two hundred & Eighteen Acres more or less, her and my daughter MARY BAILEY for their use and benefit their lifetime. Article the 4th All my personal property to remain in the hands of my wife ELIZABETH BAILEY & my daughter MARY BAILEY to hold & Enjoy the benefits of so long as they shall live. After the death of my wife ELIZABETH & my daughter NANCY BAILEY when both of them is dead I will and bequeath that all be sold and Equally divided amongst my daughters & their heirs mainly my horses cattle hogs sheep household & kitchen furniture goods & chattles I will & bequest to my wife ELIZABETH & my daughter NANCY BAILEY so long as she or they remain Single and at their death or marry all to be sold & divided as above Ritten and so no more WM.
