Hise, 27 Jul 1927 --------------¤¤¤¤¤¤-------------- Yancey County Book of Wills Pages 485-486 Transcribed by: Sandra Allen Fender North Carolina County of Yancey This is my Last Will and Testament I request at my death that all my property, real and personal, moneys, lands and house, to fall into the hands of my wife, Alice, until she marries again and at that time everything to go to my children equal but that no divide shall be made of any part of it until her death or marriage. Hise, Deceased Order for probate of Will A paper writing without subscribing witness, purporting to be the last will and testament of R. R. Hise, deceased is exhibited in open court for probation by the widow, Mrs. Alice Hise. And it is thereupon proven by the oath and examination of Mrs. Alice Hise that the said will was found after the death of the said R. R. Hise, among his valuable papers and effects. And it is further proven by the oath and examination of C. W. Robertson, W. H. Stamey and W. H. Butner, three competent and creditable witnesses, that they are acquainted with the handwriting of the said R. R. Hise, having often seen him write and verily believe that the name of the said R. R. Hise subscribed to the said will is in his handwriting and that every part thereof is in the handwriting of the said R. R. Hise. It is further proven by the three past named witnesses that said handwriting is generally known to the acquaintance of the said R. R. Hise. Whereupon it is considered by the court that the said paper writing is the Last Will and Testament of the said R. R. Hise, deceased. And the same is ordered filed and recorded. Mrs. R. R. Hise C. W.
