Jackson was born in Canada about 1850. His father was born in Ireland and his mother in New York. In 1920 Mr. Jackson was living in Pullman, Washington with his son, Leroy who was a professor at the state college there. By 1930 Leroy Jackson was living in Asheville, NC and was dean of City College in that city. In 1930 Robert F. Jackson was living in Burnsville, Yancey County, NC, next door to Hobart Ray. Living with Mr. Jackson in 1920 was his daughter, Eleanor, age 37. Living with Mr. Jackson in 1930 was his daughter, Isabella, age 45. Petition In the matter of proving the Last Will and Testament of Robert F. Jackson, Deceased. To J. Blannitt Hopper, Surrogate of the County of Bergin, State of New Jersey. The petition of Elenor also Eleanor Jackson of 61 Tenafly Road, Tenafly, NJ, respectfully shows that your petitioner is the daughter of and sole executrix named in the Last Will and Testament of Robert F. Jackson late resident of the Borough of Tenafly in the County of Bergin as aforesaid, deceased, who departed this life at Englewood, NJ on the sixteenth day of December in the year of our Lord Nineteen Hundred and thirty two and your petitioner further shows that the heirs and next of kin, etc. of the deceased are as follows: Elenor also Eleanor J. Jackson, daughter, Tenafly, N. J. LeRoy F. Jackson, son, (can’t read) Bruce E. Jackson, son, Tenafly, N. J. All of the heirs at law, next of kin and of full age. Your petitioner therefore prays that the said Last Will and Testament may be sumitted to probate, and letters thereon granted according to law. dated ___ January 4, 1933 Eleanor J. Jackson, of Pullman, Washington of the age of 75 years and being of sound and disposing mind and memory and not acting under duress, menace, fraud or under influence of any person whatsoever, do make, publish and declare this to be my last will and testament in the manner following, that is to say: First: I desire that my executrix, hereinafter named, as soon as possible, pay my just debts and expenses of probating my estate. Second: I feel that my two sons, LeRoy J. Jackson and Bruce E. Jackson are doing well in their chosen professions and are capable of making a good living and therefore I give, devise and bequeath all of my property of every kind, and wherever situated that I may die seized or possessing of to my daughter Elenor J. Jackson, the same to be her separate and undivided property. Third: I hereby nominate and appoint my daughter, Elenor J. Jackson the Executrix of this my last will and testament and specifically direct that she act without bond and settle my estate without the intervention of the courts of the state wherein this will may be admitted to probate in so far as the same is possible. I hereby and herein give and grant unto my said executrix full power and authority to sell, mortgage or in any manner encumber, lease or dispose of any of my property, and to execute any or all instruments necessary and proper to carry out my wishes as herein expressed. Fourth: I am a widower and whatever property I have is my separate property. Lastly: I hereby revoke all former wills by me made. In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal at Pullman, Washington this the 18th of February, 1925. Robert F.
