A requiem mass will be given at the St. Wenceslaus church at 9 a.m. Thursday with Father Pribl conducting the services. He will be buried in the St. Peter and Paul's cemetery. Mr. Dvorak died on Monday at Rochester, Minn., after an illness of about four months. The cause of death was given as cancer. He was born in Russia and came to the United States in 1903. He had lived at New Hradec until six years ago when he came to Dickinson and retired from farming. His wife is the former Anna Kostelecky. They were married at New Hradec. Four children were born to them, two of whom survive him. They are William, Dickinson and Laudie of California. One daughter, Sister Mary Bertilla and an infant son preceded him in death. Others who survive him are four grandchildren, and five brothers and a sister. The brothers are Stanley, Frank, Joe and Vincent all of Dickinson; John of South Heart; and Mrs. John Kubas of Dickinson. The Mischel funeral home is in charge of the arrangements. The Dickinson ND Press 28 Feb 1952 Additional Comments: I am posting several messages with obituaries extracted from microfilm, published in the Dickinson Press 1949-1953. Much of the microfilm is either faded/dark/out of focus, etc. You will find occasional instances of missing data, obvious errors, etc. In a few cases I made corrections with data I knew to be factual, but mostly I transcribed as printed and/or legible. I have additional data on many of these folks and welcome any inquiries at this address: eusteel@cox.net All of these obituaries will be sent to GRHS for addition to their records. Anyone wishing to share these obits with others may do so without my further permission. I am primarily searching for information on Reisenauer, Olheiser and Paul families.
