Mrs. (?) Fix, a retired farmer, died at 2 p.m. on April 10 at his home. Officiating pastors were Fathers Herman J. Mandry, Henry Copini and Vaclovac Sirka. Pallbearers were his grandsons Wendelin V. Fix, Wendelin Fix, John Schmalz, Christ Beehler, Louie Fix and Wendelin Buckmeier. Special music was provided by the Children's choir. Interment was in the Mott cemetery. Wendelin Fix was born in Franzfeld, Russia, October 15, 1861. He was married to Rosina Klein in his native country and came to the United States in December 1910. He was a member of St. Peter's church at Haymes. Survivors include eight children, four sons and four daughters. Four children preceded him in death. Surviving children are Mrs. Johanna Boehler, Hettinger; Fabian Fix, Haymes; Mrs. Rosina Buckmeier, Meadow, South Dakota; Peter Fix, Mott; Mrs. Margaret Schmaltz, Haymes; Linus Fix, Mott; Wendelin Fix Jr., Mott and Mrs. Anna Mosbrucker, Mott.
