Dickinson ND Press 16 and 19 Jul 1949
   Valentine Friedt, age 12, of rural Mott, died Wednesday from an injury in a
farm accident. Services will be Saturday with burial in St. Placidus cemetery.

   Valentine was born October 28, 1936 in Cannon Ball Township to Rochus and
Katie Messer Friedt.

   He is survived by his parents, brothers Leonard 16 and Thomas 15, sister
Loretta, grandmother Mrs. Benedict Friedt at Mott and grandfather Ferdinand
Messer of Yakima WA.

I am posting several messages with obituaries extracted from microfilm,
published in the Dickinson Press 1949-1953.

Much of the microfilm is either faded/dark/out of focus, etc. You will find
occasional instances of missing data, obvious errors, etc. In a few cases I made
corrections with data I knew to be factual, but mostly I transcribed as printed
and/or legible.
