PIONEER RESIDENT OF TUTTLE PASSES

MRS. (EVA) JACOB KREIN, 28 year resident of the Tuttle vicinity, past
away at
her home March 14. The deceased was born Oct. 26, 1865 at Neudorf, South
Russia, was wedded to Jacob KREIN in 1896. This union gave them 4
children
who are all still living, they are: Mrs. Katie HOFF of Tuttle, Mrs.
Magdalena
KASBES, of Minn., Gustive KREIN of Tuttle, and Mary BLECH of Goodrich.

They came to the United States in 1907 making their home 20 miles
Northwest
of Tuttle.

Funeral services were held from the Baptist Church at Goodrich March 16,
with
Rev. John Flecher officiating. Besides her children she leaves one
sister,
Mrs. Katerina MAVER of Harrid, South Dakota and 9 grandchildren.

Gustive "Gus" Krein was born 1907 in Odessa, Russia; and died 1983 in N.
Dakota. Lived at one time in Wilton, Mclean Co., N. Dakota. Gus married
Martha GRENZ (born 1911 in N. Dakota).

A son Kenneth KREIN married Bertha HALL in MS; daughter of Dewey and
Grace
(MAY) HALL. Grace was daughter of George "Rad" and Roxie (McCORMICK)
MAY/MAYE.
