Former Towner Woman Dies in Minnesota
Towner friends will be interested to hear of the death of Mrs. Willis Bemis of 
Cohasset, Minn., December 21, 1933, following an operation for appendicitis 
and gall stones.
Maggie Gonion was born March 1894, and lived most of the time until her 
marriage in the vicinity of Towner. At the age of nineteen she was united in 
marriage to Willis Bemis. To this union seven sons and five daughters were 
born, all of whom survive. Besides her husband and children she leaves one 
sister and several brothers to morn her loss.
