DIED.
At the residence of her son, Olaf Berg, near Villard, Mrs. Marta Berg passed 
away after living a life of usefulness for the past 65 years. Mrs. Berg had 
been a suffering sometime. She was born in Norway, Sept. 29th 1825, and came 
to America in 1850. She was a kind and loving mother and a good neighbor and 
will be sadly missed by her many friends. She was buried Sunday in the 
Norwegian cemetery. Rev. Martin Shirley of the Norwegian Lutheran Church 
conducted the funeral services.
