Hans B. Fjone, one of the pioneer settlers in the vicinity of Pendroy, died in 
his home on Sunday July 22d, of fever. He had been sick but four or five days 
and his death was quite sudden and unexpected, and its announcement was 
received by his many friends with feeling sof deep regret.
