DIED.
At Villard, McHenry county, Dak., on Monday, August 22, 1887, at 10:45 a.m., 
of cholera infantum, little Annie May, adopted child of Mrs. Emma L. Nichols, 
aged 3 months and 12 days. The child's illness was of short duration, but 
during its brief sufferings it exhibited a patience worthy the imitation of 
adults. It was one of the sweetest babes God ever sent to earth to reclaim 
again. Displaying an intelligence far beyond its age, it showed its loving and 
lovable disposition in an hundred ways. A bright little sunbeam sent to cheer 
the world a few short days, and then flit away to those realms into which no 
mortal eve can gaze.
