This community experienced quite a shock Thursday morning when the news was spread about that Albert and Alvin Weiermuller, two of the proprietors of our flouring mill, had died the night before. The brothers had been suffering for several days from some kind of fever but were supposed to be improving. Early Wednesday evening their condition began to grow worse, and at midnight Alvin passed away. An hour later the other brother breathed his last. The deceased brothers were very industrious carrying on their mill almost unaided. Exposure and hard work brought about their sickness. The remains will be taken Monday, to Lansing, Iowa, the former home of the deceased. Alvin leaves a wife and two young children.
