The Towner Tribune; Towner, McHenry Co., N.D.; Vol. VI, No. 11; Friday, July 29, 1910
Uncle John Willits, who left yesterday for Paris, Ontario, to visit his 
mother, Mrs. James Willits, who was nearing the century mark, received the sad 
news two hours before he left that she passed away Thursday morning at 1:00 
o'clock. This came as a severe blow to the old gentleman, whose only hope was 
that his mother would live until he could arrive home. He will get to Paris in 
time for the last sad rites.
