Theodore Castor, McIntosh County, North Dakota

Germany, Michigan, North Dakota and Oregon figure in the life story of Theodore
Castor. Intensely interesting is the autobiography of this man, which is in the
possession of his daughter, Mrs. Johnson Kruse of Oakland, Oregon. The hardships
he endured seem incredible, and his experience in Libby prison during the Civil
War are almost, unbelievable. Mr. Castor was the grandfather of W. L. Johnson.
He died at his home in Oregon at the age of 85 years.
