Christ G. Delzer, McIntosh County, North Dakota Mr. Delzer was an early pioneer of Dakota, coming to South Dakota in 1874 and on to McIntosh County in 1889. He took claims located just west of the present town of Venturia. They have been prominent in and around Venturia. The twelve children are as follows: Gottlieb, Rosina, Barbara, Carl, Riga, Emma, Christian C., Andrew, Henry, Theodore, Gustave and Emil. Mr. Delzer died in November, 1931 and Mrs. Delzer in September, 1935.
