Mrs. Frieda Forest, McIntosh County, North Dakota

Mrs. Forest, nee Becker, came with her parents to Dakota in 1886 and located in
Jewell Township. In 1903 she was married to Wm. Forest and to them 5 children
were born, four of whom are still living. They are Eugene, in Minneapolis; Ivan
and Howard, California; Myrtle, Minneapolis; and Hazel, oldest daughter, who
died in Montana. Mrs. Forest was industrious, a good business woman, saved and
acquired considerable property and still lives in Ashley in 1941.
