GALPIN, CHAS. E.

Indian trader at Fort Berthold, 1865, and at Fort Rice in 1868. He died at Grand
River in 1870.
From: Larpenteur II., 31/3, note by Washington Mathews. 

He was born in Pennsylvania and was a member of the firm that ran in opposition
to Hawley & Hubbell at Fort Berthold in 1865.
