GOUDREAU, JOSEPH
He was born in Montreal, Canada, and came to St. Louis early in the 40's. He was
a blacksmith at Ft. Pierre for a number of years, and later, in the employ of
the American Fur Company, he went as far north as Ft. Clark. He died in 1886 at
Vanderbilt, S. D.
