H. M. Smee GOUDREAU, JOSEPH He was born in Montreal, Canada, and came to St. Louis early in the 40's. He was a blacksmith at Ft. Pierre for a number of years, and later, in the employ of the American Fur Company, he went as far north as Ft. Clark. He died in 1886 at Vanderbilt, S. D. By H. H. M. Smee.
