Congregational Denomination.  From the Odessa
Record (WA) of Nov 2, 1989 of Rev Hausauer leaving Odessa for his
birthplace. "Rev Albert Hausauer, born in Eureka, SD, Sept 27, 1903. Rose
Gutjar Hausauer, born in Hosmer, SD, Nov 28, 1903. Married in Hosmer, SD,
June 5, 1928....graduated from Redfield Seminary, SD...Pastorates served
were 3 yrs at Mobridge, SD; 6 1/2 yrs at Plevna, MT, 6 yrs in Odessa, WA;
32 years at Marlin, WA."..."How many weddings? Laughing, he said, Oh, I
don't know, but I have to tell you one. It was while we were in MT. The
county seat was 14 miles away."..."They were married on a Tuesday in the
wife's home town of Hosmer on June 5, 1928, and on Friday they moved for
the summer to Blue Grass, ND to do his student field work. They drove 225
miles in one day in an old coupe. He served 3 churches for the 3-month
summer period. They were all country churches."
